I have been practicing Bikram yoga for 9 months and it has been a life-changing experience.  I was a skeptic at first and just went to my first class with my daughter, who loves it.  However, I have experienced so many benefits! The best is that Bikram yoga has allowed me to stop my physical therapy sessions.

I have sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction due to running.  I was in physical therapy for 4 years, attending PT once to twice a week.  After 2 months of practicing Bikram yoga, all my sacroiliac joint dysfunction symptoms went away, and I stopped going to physical therapy in November 2014.  I am able now able to run longer with less post-run SI joint pain symptoms.  My flexibility and posture have greatly improved from my practice.  My body has been  transformed and it feels toned and lean.  I am happy to say that now my former physical therapist is also practicing Bikram yoga and goes to the Pure Bikram North studio.

I have wonderful yoga teachers at Pure Bikram Yoga Cedar Park, each of them has given me techniques and guidance to improve my practice.  Shout out to Erin, Nora, Nora P., Lauren, Jim and Jackie.! Thank you for all your encouragement and allowing me to get better.
